- Take a wok, add oil, heat it.
- Moderate the flame, add rai, let it splutter,
- Now add kari patta & green chilli, sauté it for a while.
- Add spring onion, stir fry it till translucent.
- Add ginger garlic grated, sauté it for a while.
- Now add tomato & salt, sauté it till tomato is half done.
- Add haldi & dhania powder, stir fry it for a while.
- Now add oats, mix it well.
- Add garam masala powder, stir it nicely.
- Now add lobia, mix it well.
- Add water accordingly so as to keep Upma a lil dry.
- Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it till done.
- Switch off the flame, open the lid after a while.
- Take out in a serving dish, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
- It can be a one pot meal also..
