  10. Get 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  11. Take 2 Bay leaves
  12. Make ready 2 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  13. Get 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  14. Get 1 tsp Paprika powder / red Kashmiri chilli powder
  15. Make ready 2 Tbsp Coriander powder roasted & crushed
  16. Make ready 2 tsp Red chili powder or to taste
  17. Get 1/2 cup boiled Water or as required
  18. Prepare 1 cup beaten natural plain Yogurt
  19. Prepare 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder
  20. Get 1/4 tsp Mace powder
  21. Take 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  22. Make ready 1/2 tsp Butter)
  23. Prepare 1 tsp Kewra water
  24. Prepare Ginger julienne for garnishing (optional)
  25. Get Coriander for garnish

Place onion, yogurt, mango chutney, garlic, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, and into the bowl of a food processor. Process into a smooth sauce; it should be about the consistency of thick cream. Add a bit of water or yogurt to thin it if needed. Spread chicken into prepared baking dish, and pour the onion sauce over the chicken.

Steps to make Chicken Korma:
  1. In a pot add oil / ghee add black cardamom,green cardamom,cloves,black pepper corns,star anise,cinnamon sticks,cumin seeds,bay leaves and fry for 1 minute. - Add onion fry until golden brown - Add ginger garlic paste and fry well.
  2. Add chicken and fry until chicken changes color,Add salt,paprika powder,coriander powder,red chili powder,and fry well till all chicken water dry then add beaten yogurt and fry well for 2 minutes. - add nutmeg powder,mace powder,mix well and add 1/2 a cup boiled water or as required cook korma for low flame 15-20 minutes or till chicken is fully cooked and all oil / ghee comes up the surface.
  3. Turn off the flame and Sprinkle garam masala, add kewra water and butter cover with lid for 5 minutes. - Garnish with ginger julienne and Coriander served with naan, roti, pitta bread or rice. - Enjoy !!!
