Next add in the ingredients, chopped capsicum, soya sauce, ketchup, green chilly sauce to the pan and saute this for a few seconds. Heat ghee in a pan add drumstick leaves, cumin seeds, green chilies and saute it. Once drumstick leaves are cooked then add boiled rice, mix nicely reduce flame. Crush garlic, idly podi and crush it.
Instructions to make Drumstick leaves rice:
- Heat ghee or oil in a vessel, add in onions and chilli, saute till translucent, add in ginger garlic paste saute till raw smell goes.
- Add in the spices and saute,add in the drum stick leaves, cook for 10 minutes in low flame, now add water and allow it to boil,
- When water boils, add in rice, check for salt, and close the lid.turn off the stove when rice is completely cooked.
Once drumstick leaves are cooked then add boiled rice, mix nicely reduce flame. Crush garlic, idly podi and crush it. Add this mixture to rice along with salt and mix nicely. Take out any insect bit leaves or yellow leaves. Work in small bunches in batches than taking out each and every stalk.
